Renewable energy and innovation in the agricultural sector: Who can attract grants for business development?


Both state institutions and private companies are eligible to secure funding for the implementation of projects related to renewable energy sources. Priority is being given to solar and wind energy projects. In addition to financing, companies may also benefit from technical and consulting assistance. The minimum capital investment required is $25M for private sector projects and $10M for public sector projects.
The TeamUp program connects leading technologists with entrepreneurs and business specialists, providing support for the creation of impactful startups in the agri-food sector. This six-month program facilitates market entry for innovative projects. Participants will receive training and support from industry experts, along with the chance to secure up to $40,000 at the end of the program. Registration is open until April 30.
Also, 455 winners from the sixth wave of the Own Business state program will receive ₴106M for business development, which will enable the creation of 728 new jobs. The majority of participating entrepreneurs plan to or are currently engaged in the trade and repair of motor vehicles (34%), processing industry (15%), and the hotel and restaurant industry (14%).
