Ramstein results: M113 armored personnel carriers from Benelux, Leopard tanks from Spain, and €24M in defense support from Lithuania.

According to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, the Ukraine Defense Contact Group demonstrated strong support for Ukraine through its partners. The priority for the July 18 meeting was the supply of weapons and equipment to Ukraine: air defenses, ammunition, and armor.

In addition, Luxembourg and Estonia presented steps to develop an IT coalition, and Lithuania initiated the creation of a demining coalition. The country will also provide €24M worth of military aid and weapons in July.

After the meeting, the Benelux countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg) announced they would supply M113 armored personnel carriers and spare parts for them to Ukraine.

In turn, Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles said that her country will send the last four Leopard 2A4 tanks and a new batch of light weapons and large-caliber ammunition. Also, after major repairs, ten armored personnel carriers and several armored all-terrain vehicles, light trucks, and ambulances will be sent to Ukraine.
