Prices for new apartments in Ukraine have risen since the beginning of the year.
In January-July 2022, the price of a square meter of newly constructed housing increased by 11%, and by 8% on the secondary market, reported the OLX real estate platform. In January, the average price for second-hand apartments in Ukraine were UAH 17,600 sq/m ($470), and in July, this amount was already UAH 19,000 sq/m ($510) If you plan to invest in an apartment in a new building, the average price per square meter is 25,400 UAH sq/m ($685) which is UAH 2,500 ($68) more than at the beginning of the year before the war. According to the OLX portal, the cheapest apartments in new buildings in July are offered in the Ivano-Frankivsk region with UAH 17,800 sq/m ($480). Affordable prices are also in Khmelnytskyi, UAH 18,800 sq/m ($508), and the Sumy region with UAH 19,500 sq/m ($528). The highest prices for new apartments were recorded in Kyivska ($820), Lvivska ($905), and Dnipropetrovsk ($908) regions.
