Poland pushes for the tenth package of EU sanctions to be the most severe.

Poland’s Deputy Foreign Minister Pawel Jablonski said the diplomatic process regarding the new sanctions package is ongoing. Poland hopes it will be as strict and harsh as possible. Previous sanctions packages covered many industries and spheres, after which it became clear that new ways of circumventing these sanctions were constantly appearing. At the same time, according to Jablonski, work on the new package is hampered by Hungary and several other countries. They are among certain interest groups that try to dilute and weaken the sanctions to continue making money from businesses associated with Russia.
