Poland has opened the largest cargo checkpoint on the border with Ukraine, but two more countries have begun blockades.
Poland has unblocked the Yagodin-Dorohusk cargo checkpoint, announced Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov. He noted that as of 2:00 p.m. on December 11, stable truck traffic was restored, and 15 vehicles passed in the direction of Ukraine. Also, 25 trucks from Ukraine to Poland are being processed. According to the customs office, about 1,000 trucks are waiting to enter Ukraine through Yagodin, and the same number are waiting to leave.
However, Slovak carriers resumed their protest at the Vyšné Nemecké-Uzhgorod checkpoint on December 11, starting at 3:00 p.m. Protesters will only block trucks moving out of Ukraine and will not obstruct the movement of large-sized transport from Slovakia.
At the same time, Hungarian transporters started their protest on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border.
