In general, the coal stocks at all TPPs in the country as of January 4 exceeded 500,000 tons. Total reserves, including state-owned thermal power plants suffering from a coal shortage, increased by 4.4% (by 21 thousand tons) over the past week – up to 503.2 thousand tons. As reported, coal reserves at the DTEK TPPs have grown by 35% since the beginning of December – from 240 to 324 thousand tons. During this period, stocks at state stations decreased by 15% – from 120 to 104 thousand tons.
