Over the past 15 years, Ukrainian IT companies have attracted almost $3.7B in investments.

Since 2009, Ukrainian IT companies have participated in 1,798 transactions, 1,519 of which involved a total of about $3.7B and 248 involving mergers and acquisitions totaling $4.3B.

After February 24, 2022, the Ukrainian IT market saw a decrease in investment. Out of 18 active local investment funds operating in Ukraine for over a year, only six continued their activities after the invasion. But at the same time, seven new funds were added.

In 2022, the Ukrainian market received 98 investments, 27% less than the 134 taken in during the pre-war year of 2021. In monetary terms, those 98 investments totaled $613M, compared to $943M for 134 deals in 2021. in the first half of the current year, Ukrainian IT enterprises attracted 42 investments worth $92M.

Regarding the considerable difference in money between 2022 and 2023, which has not yet ended, it is worth noting that most deals in the first half of 2022 were often agreed upon and sometimes even formalized before the invasion.
