Over 2600 foreign businesses have opened in Ukraine since the start of the full scale war.
Most often, citizens of Turkey, Uzbekistan, Poland, and the US have incorporated new businesses, Opendatabot notes. However, citizens from 100 countries have invested money in Ukraine during the war.
Turkey is the leader in the number of new businesses opened, with 354 new ownership registrations of Ukrainian companies. In second place are citizens of Uzbekistan, who became owners of 274 new Ukrainian companies (10%). The top three also included Polish citizens – 193 businesses (7%).
Also, many businesses in Ukraine were opened by citizens of the US, Kazakhstan, Germany, Azerbaijan, and Israel.
According to the state registry, the largest business opened by foreigners during the war was the TENS1MA construction company with a charter capital of ₴1.28B ($32M), belonging to a citizen of Armenia. In second place is the Yugen Venture Capital firm with ₴700M ($17.5M) in capital and owned by a US citizen. Rounding out the top three is LFS with ₴300M, owned by a citizen of Poland.
