One of the oldest players in the Ukrainian fast-food market is investing $6M to expand its network.
After a pause of almost 2.5 years, Puzata Hata has resumed the expansion of its chain of restaurants. During 2024, it will grow by at least six facilities, investing $1M in each. The Ukrainian restaurant’s authentic interior is shifting to a modern café design, where guests can not only eat but also drink coffee and work.
Before the war in 2021, the chain had only managed to open two updated restaurants in Kyiv. In June 2024, Puzata Hata’s next establishment opened in the capital, and two more restaurants in August. Three more restaurants are planned to open in Kyiv by the end of the year. In addition, the company is negotiating and assessing the technical possibilities of about 20 more locations.
Puzata Hata is a fast-food chain created in 2003 that now consists of 41 establishments in six cities. In the list of the largest Ukrainian chains, only McDonald’s has been operating longer than Puzata Hata in the Ukrainian market.
