Russian Federation missile strikes on November 17 targeted gas production and enterprises in the Dnipro region, particularly Pivdenmash said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. According to Naftogaz Ukraine, Russia executed a massive attack on the Ukrgazvydobuvannya company’s gas production facilities in the east of Ukraine. Several were destroyed, and others were damaged to varying degrees. Following this attack, hourly blackout schedules were re-introduced in Ukraine, and emergency power outages have occurred, Ukrenergo reports. In Odesa, one of the regions most affected by this attack, 70% of subscribers were left without electricity. Director of DTEK Dmytro Saharuk said that the latest missile strikes by Russia inflicted severe damage to electrical substations.
