Norway will transfer additional air defense systems to Ukraine.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, met with his colleague, the Minister of Defense of Norway, Bjorn Arild Gram, as part of his visit to Kyiv. During his visit, Gram announced that Norway plans to transfer to Ukraine missile launchers, fire control systems, and missiles for NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems. In addition, Norway has joined the “tank coalition”. “Personnel training is already underway, and the first tanks will be in Ukraine soon. We are also helping with the strengthening of air defense. We handed over the short-range Mistral complexes and contributed to the work on the medium-range NASAMS system,” Gram clarified. He referred to the transfer of two NASAMS in cooperation with the US.
