North Macedonia has provided Su-25 attack aircraft and is considering transferring helicopters.

North Macedonia sent four Soviet Su-25 attack aircraft to Ukraine, which were used to provide air support to the ground forces and were later decommissioned, said the country’s defense minister, Slavjanka Petrovska. According to Janes, North Macedonia provided three single-seater Su-25 and one two-seater Su-25UB.

According to Petrovska, her state has already provided Ukraine with infantry weapons and ammunition, artillery equipment, main battle tanks, SU aircraft, anti-tank and anti-aircraft systems, equipment, and ammunition for military aviation. She also said that a new support package was approved at the meeting of the state government on March 14.

In addition, it is reported that Kyiv has requested that Skopje provide attack helicopters. Authorities are considering providing Ukrainian defenders with 12 Soviet-made Mi-24 attack helicopters such as the Su-25, which is used for infantry support.
