Nestlé will invest around ₴9.5B in its Ukrainian business in 2025 and will launch a new plant.

Alessandro Zanelli, top manager of Nestlé in Ukraine, said: “The consumer goods category will grow. But this year, everyone will feel extreme pressure on margins. You can’t shift everything to consumers because inflation in the country is already high. We will have to work to create the right narrative about our business scheme.” Zanelli noted that Nestlé plans to increase its presence in Ukraine, investing ₴8B ($190M) in commercial activities, particularly in promoting consumer goods in retail chains. Another ₴1.5B will be invested in the modernization of the company’s plants. Nestlé has been delaying the launch of a new plant in the Volyn region for six months due to constant air attack hazards and a shortage of builders and labor but intends to implement its launch in March 2025. Nestlé’s Ukrainian business operates in the following areas: coffee and beverages, confectionery, sauces, instant products, baby and special food, and pet food.
