Naftogaz is discussing a gas loan with the EBRD. 

 Ukraine’s national gas and oil company, Naftogaz of Ukraine, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) discussed the terms of obtaining a loan for the purchase of natural gas. During the first half of 2022, Naftogaz has already acquired a UAH 7.5B loan and a new credit line of UAH 4.5B from Ukrainian state-owned banks. According to the company’s financial statements, the consolidated net profit of Naftogaz of Ukraine in 2021 amounted to UAH 12B against a net loss of UAH 19B in 2020. Last year, their sales revenues increased by 36.5% compared to 2020, and profits increased by 13.5%.
