Most Ukrainians will spend a part of their holiday budget on donating to the Armed Forces.

More than 60% of Ukrainians will spend at least part of their New Year and Christmas shopping budget to help the Armed Forces or war victims, according to the results of a Deloitte study. In particular, it is noted that 61% of Ukrainians, despite their personal circumstances, are planning New Year and Christmas shopping, although they will buy fewer goods than last year. The budget of 49% of Ukrainians for shopping in the New Year and Christmas period ranges from UAH 1,000 to UAH 5,000. Shopping focuses on food products, children’s goods, clothes, and shoes. Also, 63% of Ukrainians will not buy goods if their manufacturer or seller has not left the Russian market. Supermarkets and shopping centers will be the main place for New Year and Christmas shopping. Online shopping is in third place.
