The Lithuanian government has approved draft resolutions prepared by the country’s Interior Ministry to provide emergency assistance to Ukraine totaling €1.8M, announced the Lithuanian Ministry of Internal Affairs. “Given Ukraine’s requests and needs, we have decided to urgently provide the necessary support to the country, which is currently facing unprecedented Russian military aggression. Our prompt response to the announced request for assistance is an essential sign of support and solidarity with Ukraine. This is the first batch of aid. We will continue to help Ukraine as much as we can because it is now our shield,” said Interior Minister Agne Bilotaite.
