Last year, the budget received more than ₴1.2 trillion in tax revenues.

According to the State Tax Service, income (balance) to the consolidated budget in 2023 from taxes will amount to ₴1.213T. The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine’s budget indicators for the collected revenues from the state budget’s general fund were fulfilled 100.7%. At the same time, “₴132.4B of VAT was reimbursed to payers’ accounts“, the State Tax Service reported.

The tax agency noted that the indicators from the Ministry of Finance’s corporate income tax schedule exceeded 29.9% (+ ₴33.1B) and for excise duty on manufactured and imported goods increased by 15.9% (+ ₴14,2B).

In terms of basic payments, in 2023, income from tax and personal income tax increased by 18.6% (+ ₴27.6B), corporate income tax increased by 22.9% (+ ₴26.8B), excise tax on manufactured and imported goods by 30% (+ ₴25B).

Local budgets in the year 2023 received ₴430B, which is ₴37.3B, or 9.5% more than in 2022.
