Kovalska plans to launch a gas concrete production plant in the Lviv region this June.

Kovalska, an industrial and construction group, intends to establish a gas concrete production facility that will produce blocks and panels, U-blocks, and reinforced products in Rozvadov (Lviv region) in June. Production will cater to Western Ukrainian regions and nearby countries.
Compared to the group’s previous plant in Nova Kakhovka, which also produced gas concrete and remains in the temporarily Russian-occupied territory of the Kherson region, the new project’s two stages will be 100% more productive. The new facility will employ Aircrete Europe’s production technology for creating “lightweight concrete,” which saves approximately 20% of energy consumption in buildings due to its modern insulating properties.
A year ago, Kovalska signed an agreement with Invest International to secure a €27M loan to acquire equipment for this plant, financed by the Dutch Good Growth Fund.
The aerated concrete plant will be the first part of a future Kovalska industrial hub, which will also feature dry mix and concrete plants. The total investment in the hub will reach €100M.
