Japanese corporations have created special offices focused on Ukraine.
Japanese companies are not yet ready to build production facilities in Ukraine. However, they are studying this issue, and the largest corporations have created special offices focused on Ukraine. The Ukrainian Ambassador to Japan, Serhiy Korsunskyi, in an interview with NV.ua, said that both Japanese society and the business community are currently engaged in the preliminary study of the situation regarding the creation of factories in Ukraine. Korsunskyi also noted that Japanese businesses and government has held online meetings on how best to cooperate with Ukraine once active hostilities cease. According to the diplomat, Japanese businessmen understand that Ukraine is now in a situation where absolutely everything will be needed, and an enormous influx of resources for post-war reconstruction is expected.
