Investments in Ukrainian startups soared by almost 200% in the second quarter: Who attracted the most?

In half a year, 71 Ukrainian startups received about $270.8M in funding. The number of financed companies increased by almost 200% in the second quarter compared to the first. Of the 71 companies, 53 received investments in the second quarter for $228.8M. Investors were most interested in:

  1. Creatio, which develops no-code solutions for automating business processes, attracted $200M in capital and became the sixth Ukrainian unicorn with a valuation of $1.2B.
  2. Fintech Farm, a serial manufacturer of neobanks that cooperates with banks in various countries and develops services for them, closed a $32 million investment round in May.
  3. Portal.ai developed a program that allows you to analyze sales personnel activity to increase their efficiency. The startup has attracted $5M in angel investment.
  4. Esper Bionics, which creates bioprostheses, has closed another round of investment that raised $5M.
  5. Buntar Aerospace, which developed a reconnaissance drone invisible to electronic detection with a smart guidance system, raised $2.2M.
