In Ukraine, despite the ongoing war, the construction of elevators is on the rise.

KMZ Industries, a company that produces elevator equipment, observes that in Ukraine, despite the challenging situation and general market pressures, the construction of new elevators and the expansion of existing facilities continues, with demand for construction remaining steady. The company’s annual order growth stands at approximately 15-17%. A substantial list of potential customers already has design solutions, sites prepared for construction or expansion of current facilities, and ready estimates; however, they are waiting for an improvement in the security situation, particularly in the northern and eastern regions.
Currently, KMZ Industries has 173 projects underway involving small, medium, and large facilities. Most customers are located in western Ukraine, with several clients from Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions. Additionally, farmers are constructing grain silos to collaborate with processing enterprises, feed mills, and bioethanol plants. While the construction of grain elevators was previously dominated by large agricultural holdings, this trend is now gaining traction among medium and small agricultural enterprises.
