In March Ukraine set a record for the export of agricultural products since the beginning of the war.
Ukraine shipped 7.8 million tons of farm products last month, which is 12% more than in February. This is the largest figure since the beginning of the war, said the Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club. Furthermore, 51% of exports in March went through the grain corridor, and the rest traveled through alternative routes.
The structure of agricultural exports in March is as follows: grain crops 5.7 million tons (+10% to February), oil crops – 683,100 tons (+23%), vegetable oils – 556,200 tons (+28%), and oil extraction cake – 454,700 tons (+10%).
In March, growth was demonstrated in all groups of agricultural products, which is a positive trend. Experts drew attention to the main problem, which is the large gap between the world price and the price on the Ukrainian market for the main crops.
