Highlights of Volodymyr Zelensky’s meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev
The Ukrainian and Azerbaijani presidents discussed several future collaborations and signed several bilateral documents. Ukraine and Azerbaijan agreed to intensify cooperation in the field of international road and rail transport, as well as in the field of aviation. Among other things, the creation of a transport corridor, possibly within the framework of GUAM, which unites Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Moldova, said Zelensky. Both parties also discussed cooperation issues in the field of agriculture, particularly the establishment of joint ventures in the food industry. Critical discussion took place in the spheres of energy and oil refining, expressing confidence that new decisions will be made in the months leading up to the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission.
