Germany hands over Skynex, Marder, and shells, and Ukraine will scale up its production of anti-drone systems.

Last week, Germany handed over another package of military aid, including a Skynex air defense system with ammunition, missiles for the IRIS-T SLM air defense system, ammunition for Leopard 2 A6 tanks, almost 10,000 rounds of 155-mm artillery ammunition, 10 Marder transporters with ammunition and spare parts, two demining tanks, as well as other equipment, vehicles, and weapons.

Meanwhile, according to the Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine plans to increase the production of electronic warfare equipment.

“We are doing everything to open the market and allow the maximum number of players to enter this market with their technologies because we need thousands of radio-electronic warfare systems,” said Fedorov.

He emphasized that the available number of such systems is still not high enough. However, the drone market in Ukraine has scaled up significantly over the past year, so the production of electronic warfare equipment will be developed based on this experience.
