Gas prices in Europe have increased to $1,350 in October.

This is the highest figure since early October when the price soared to almost $2,000 per thousand cubic meters. Quotes on January contracts on December 13 reached $1358 per thousand cubic meters, reported theice.com Experts to attribute another price jump to a statement of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Annalena Berbok, regarding the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline. Berbok said that the gas pipeline does not yet meet the norms of European energy legislation, and will not be able to be connected to the network in the event of further escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
