Energoatom will use Rolls-Royce technology for a small modular reactor.

The National Nuclear Energy Generating Company (Energoatom) is considering cooperating with the British company Rolls-Royce. The company, which has developed the technology of a small modular reactor (MMR) UK SMR, last week, held an online meeting with Energoatom’s management, during which the company presented a design of the technology of a small modular reactor. Recently, Energoatom informed Rolls-Royce about the company’s plans which are; to replace its existing nuclear facilities, to build new power units, and its prospects for small modular reactors in Ukraine announced Energoatom.
