Elementum Energy plans to build 400 MW of wind power generation in Ukraine at a cost of €500M. 

Elementum Energy, owned by VR Capital, plans to build wind power plants with a capacity of about 400 MW in the south and west of Ukraine in the coming years.  Elementum Energy previously announced the construction of three wind farms in the Odesa region with a total capacity of about 58.5 MW: Kiliya, Artsyz, and Artsyz-2.

In addition, the company is preparing to construct two wind farm projects in the south of Ukraine with a total capacity of 158 MW, acquired in 2020-2021. These two projects are in various stages of development and construction should begin in the summer of 2025.

Also, the company is negotiating the acquisition of wind farm projects in western Ukraine with a capacity of 200 MW. The total investment required for these projects is more than €500M, and the company plans to attract external financing. Elementum Energy currently owns two lines of wind generation in Odesa with a capacity of about 100 MW.
