EFI Group has secured equipment suppliers for Ukraine’s first float glass plant.

The investor has signed an agreement with European equipment providers for the construction of NovaSklo, Ukraine’s inaugural float glass facility, which is planned to start operations by 2028 with an investment over €240M. The project has agreements with German companies Horn Glass Industries AG and Zippe Industrieanlagen GmbH, as well as Italy’s Bottero S.p.A. These agreements involve cooperation in engineering, project support, and equipment preparation for the plant.

Under the agreements, Horn Glass Industries, Bottero, and Zippe will deliver engineering and design services, including technical design and equipment configuration during construction. EFI Group has also arranged a technical partnership with one of the world’s three largest float glass producers, with the deal expected to be finalized soon.

Currently, EFI Group is actively working to begin building a glass factory in the Kyiv region.
