The attempted assassination of Serhiy Shefir, a key member of the Presidential advisory team, led to Zelensky cut short his trip to the US to back to Kyiv. The incident illustrates the tremendous pressure that the Ukrainian President is under in his war against oligarchs and the corrupted system which does not serve the state let alone the citizens of Ukraine. Zelensky is on the right path to restore law and order, ensure the rights of private property, and clean up a corrupted system that places the interests of a minority ahead of the majority, the people of Ukraine.
