Preparing for my US vaccination vacation this month, I made a run out to Boryspil Airport yesterday. A friend sneered that I would sit in traffic due to reconstruction of the 17 km access highway. So, I decided to take the Boryspil Express train. It is very simple. Schedules are posted here. I took the Green line Metro to Vydubychi Station. I climbed two sets of steep stairs and waited on the new platform. At the appointed time, the sleek, newly renovated Pesa double car train glided up. I had forgotten my Visa card at home, but a fellow passenger paid my ticket – 80 UAH – and I paid her back with cash. Half an hour later, I was at Borsypil. Very easy. With Best Regards Jim Brooke
