Obscured by the Covid clouds, half of Ukrainians adults quietly obtained the documents that allow them to enter the EU visa-free to travel, study or work part time. When historians write about this phase of Ukrainian history, the story will be told of a people turning their back on Russia and experiencing Europe for the first time.
