Global warming is one of the most pressing issues for the economy and society today. With our EU countries moving forward to lower emissions by implementing laws including the end to diesel cars production. Locally, the Ukrainian government has approved conditions to reduce CO2 emissions by 65% by 2030. However, the number of used cars imported from US and EU has been doubling every year since 2016. The junk that the EU doesn’t need or tries to get rid of, is sent to Ukraine. Therefore, we will need more than 9 years to reduce emissions by 65%. Best Regards, UBN Editorial Board.
