Due to the lack of fuel, 20 units and 1 building of TPP and CHP are not working.

As of December 6, 20 units (out of 85) and 1 building of TPPs and CHPs with a total capacity of 7.26 GW were out of order in Ukraine due to lack of fuel. As a result, the actual coal reserves at 12 thermal power plants are lower than necessary, according to the Ministry of Energy. The total coal reserves of 123.2 thousand tons were found at the three TPPs of the state-owned Centrenergo, with a minimum allowable 227.6 thousand tons.
