Denmark and Latvia allocate more than €1B for Ukraine’s reconstruction.


On April 28, at the invitation of Minister Dmytro Kuleba, the heads of foreign affairs of Latvia, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden made a joint visit to Odesa, including the Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.
The Danish government has launched a new support program for Ukraine for 2023 providing €1B in aid, Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lücke Rasmussen said at a briefing in Odesa.
“The main goal of the program is Ukraine’s restoration. The reconstruction of Mykolaiv will take a special place in this program,” the Danish official added.
In his turn, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Edgars Rinkevičs, announced his intention to invest €5M in the restoration of Ukraine this year.
