De-shadowing brought the budget more than UAH 50B

According to Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danilo Getmantsev,, the state budget received an additional UAH 14.8B from domestic taxes in December alone, or 42.6% more than compared to December 2020. The budget in December 2021 received 1.6 times more year on year than in 2020 from VAT (balance) only. And, despite the crisis of 2020, the revenue figures were higher than in a prosperous 2019. According to estimates, the shadow economy in Ukraine amounted to 31% of the official gross domestic product (GDP).
