Contributions from international donors to defense and demining have increased.

The United24 fundraising platform has processed 68,000 contributions from international donors in support of Ukraine totaling $3,962,956. The top ten donor countries included the US, Germany, France, Ukraine, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Switzerland, and Ireland. Donors began to choose the direction of “Defense and demining” more often. For example, at the beginning of summer, 25% of German residents transferred funds in this direction, and at the end of August, this indicator increased to 42%. In addition, 73% of residents of France, 75% of residents of Canada, and 76% of residents of Great Britain transferred funds specifically for defense and demining. Three months ago, this figure was 60% for each country. 70% of United24’s most active donors during this period are Americans, whose contributions rose from 50% of total contributions in June.
