BGV Group will develop a graphite deposit in the Kirovohrad region for battery production.

Pobuzhzhia Development, part of BGV Group Management, co-owner of the ATB supermarket chain, has signed a memorandum of intent to cooperate with the UkraineInvest state institution, which attracts and supports direct foreign investment in Ukraine. This cooperation represents another important step in attracting international financing and providing state support for projects with significant investment in the Ukrainian mining industry, particularly in the exploration, production, and processing of critical materials. UkraineInvest will provide information, consulting, and organizational support while promoting effective interaction between investors and state authorities.

Pobuzhzhia Development is developing BGV Graphite, a large-scale project in Ukraine’s Kirovohrad region focused on the Balakhivka graphite deposit. The project includes the construction of a mining and processing plant and a spherical graphite production facility for lithium-ion batteries. BGV Group has been working on this project for six years and plans to join the European and global battery market supply chains. The project requires up to $450M in investment.
