Another biogas plant will be built in Ukraine at a cost of $20M.

AgroVista Group is preparing to construct a biogas plant, said the company’s top manager Pavlo Fesiuk. He mentioned that this project is fully developed and has been presented to investors. Fesiuk added that the company has all the necessary resources to launch this initiative – including raw materials, energy expertise, its own gas supply, a team, and infrastructure. The plant’s capacity will be five MW, and the project’s cost is estimated at $20M. Fesiuk noted that the facility will be multifunctional.
“We understand how critically important electricity is for Ukraine now – especially for covering peak loads. Therefore, we are establishing cogeneration as one of the plant’s directions, which enables us to operate at a green tariff”, he said.
The top manager also mentioned that the option of supplying biomethane to the gas transportation system is also being considered. AgroVista specializes in grain and oilseed production, livestock farming, grain trading, and sugar manufacturing. The group’s land bank totals 75,000 hectares of farm land.
