An industrial park will be built in the Poltava Region with at least $27M investment.

The Smart Tech Industry Industrial Park has been included in the Register of Industrial Parks. On the park’s territory, which will be located on an area of more than 13 hectares in the Lubensky district of the Poltava region, an enterprise is planned to be built for the deep processing of corn grain.

The enterprise will specialize in producing food products, flour-milling and grain industry products, and ready-made animal feed. Also, among the park’s planned operational directions are producing finished metal products, sawmills, and planning production. A thermal power plant with a total capacity of three MW will be built to supply energy to the park’s production facilities continuously.

According to the memorandum concluded with American investors, it is planned to invest $7M in the development of the park’s infrastructure and $20M in the construction of the park’s facilities. The park will create about 350 new jobs in the processing industry.
