An American facial recognition software development company plans to open an office in Ukraine.
The Clearview AI company is interested in building its digital infrastructure of Ukraine. Among their concepts is the use of artificial intelligence in customs and banking.
In addition, the company is analyzing the feasibility of opening an office in Ukraine with a local development team. “This will help talented Ukrainian IT people realize their potential,” said Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov after a meeting with Clearview AI CEO Hoan Ton-That.
Federov clarified that Clearview AI has supported Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale invasion, and 14 state bodies use its technologies.
“This artificial intelligence will help recognize Russian war criminals’ faces to bring them to justice. It also will help to upgrade Ukrainian checkpoints and strengthen their security”, explained Fedorov.
