An American company seeks to invest in the Lviv region and build affordable housing.
The American investment company Chicago Atlantic Trident will consider investing in the construction of affordable housing and industry in the Lviv region, said the head of the OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi. According to him, the Americans emphasized that they are interested in supporting Ukraine’s reconstruction.
“We are here to support the reconstruction of Ukraine. We have five private funds, two publicly listed on NASDAQ. Over the past five years, we have invested more than $2.5B,” said Chicago Atlantic Trident Partner Dmytro Lampert.
To solve the housing problem, they gathered a powerful team, which includes, in particular, a former President of the World Bank, David Malpass, the executive director of UkraineInvest, Serhiy Tsivkach, a former Vice President of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and other high-level specialists.
After the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Lviv Region accepted over 240,000 internally displaced people. Investors have already selected projects for potential investment this year.
