American businesses in Ukraine are particularly focused on defense technologies.

Currently, the most compelling direction for US businesses in Ukraine is the defense sector, particularly projects that can be classified as dual-use technologies, said Valeriy Krasovsky, co-founder and CEO of leading Ukrainian IT company Sigma Software.
He emphasized that Ukraine possesses unique experience in the defense sector. Furthermore, Western companies are highly interested in Ukrainian specialists and engineers, as partners are well aware of their effectiveness, Krasovsky added. According to Krasovsky, there are almost no Ukrainian companies, especially in the IT sector, with foreign clients that have experienced a drop in productivity since the start of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation.
“So, if we can work effectively in wartime, imagine how we can work in peacetime,” the expert noted.
Krasovsky mentioned that he and his partners are striving to encourage Americans to invest more in Ukrainian technology companies. This includes firms registered in the US, ensuring that American investors can be confident that their rights are protected.
