Almost half of Ukrainian real estate companies will enter foreign markets this year.
According to a survey from URE Club, 21.6% of real estate companies plan to open an office abroad in 2023, and 43.1% plan to implement foreign projects. About 19.6% of the companies surveyed could not answer regarding plans to implement real estate projects outside of Ukraine, and regarding opening an office abroad, 62.7% do not consider it a possibility, and 15.7% hesitated to answer.
Companies that plan to enter international markets are primarily considering the EU countries, especially Poland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Montenegro, Turkey, and the Czech Republic. The Ukrainian companies believe there is potential for developing residential investment projects there. The survey participants also named the UAE and the US the most interesting investment areas. Development and construction companies, project management companies, and architectural and service companies participated in the survey.
