Allies continue to provide winter military aid to Ukraine.
The UK has provided the Armed Forces of Ukraine with over 82,000 helmets, 25,000 sets of winter clothing, 10,000 sets of body armor, and 70,000 dry rations.
De Telegraaf also reported that Ukraine may soon receive 60 Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery units, which the US bought from Jordan. The Ukrainian army is currently using the Gepard to shoot down Russian drones. This helps save expensive air defense system ammunition such as is used by the Patriot and IRIS-T systems, which focus on anti-missile defense.
Also, according to German Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Jäger, Germany will deliver two more IRIS-T air defense systems to Ukraine in addition to the three transferred earlier. At the same time, Germany has confirmed that it will double its military aid next year to €8B. This is in reaction to the realization that the funds allocated this year were quickly exhausted.
