An insurance broker predicts the opening of Ukraine’s skies in early 2025.
Flights from the Ukrainian airports, either Boryspil near Kyiv or in Lviv, may resume in January 2025, said a senior partner at insurance broker Marsh McLennan Crispin Ellison at the Kyiv International Economic Forum. “We have five or six airlines that would like to start operations,” he said. Ellison noted that it would be easier to provide insurance mechanisms for aviation if planes start flying from Lviv, but President Zelenskyy insists that the airport in Boryspil should be opened first.
