About 14,000 enterprises have resumed work in the de-occupied territories.
More than one million people who left since the beginning of the war returned to the de-occupied regions of Kherson, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kyiv. More than 14,000 enterprises have resumed work said Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Head of the Office of the President.
Out of 353,000 people who left, 248,000 have returned to the Kyiv region. 637,700 have returned to the Kharkiv region out of more than one million refugees. Only 100,000 people have returned to the Sumy region from the 300,000 who left.
Businesses are also returning to the de-occupied territories. Since February 24, 2022, more than 8,000 enterprises have stopped working in the Kherson region, of which only 355 have started working again. However, the Sumy region shows a positive trend, where out of 57 enterprises that were forced to cease operations, 47 have already resumed work.
