A wind power plant developer seeks to secure funding from small investors for project execution.

Wind Parks of Ukraine intends to raise money from these investors to build wind power facilities, according to CEO Vladyslav Yeremenko.

“Our group is actively pursuing this goal and we are working to finalize the necessary mechanism. If Inzhur can do it, why can’t we? Every Ukrainian investor wants assurance of ownership or co-ownership documentation so they can utilize, sell, exchange, or inherit their property. This framework is still being developed, but we are diligently exploring the matter,” he stated.

Typically, bank loans account for 70% of the company’s project funding, while 30% is sourced from investors. At present, the group is finishing a wind power plant in Nyzhni Voroti, in the Zakarpattia region, and is also set to resume construction on another plant in the Runa Valley.

Wind Parks of Ukraine has been active in the Ukrainian market for over 12 years, and relocated from Kramatorsk (Donetsk region) to Transcarpathia in 2022.

Additionally, UBN notes that Inzhur is already successfully engaging small investors to support energy projects in Ukraine.
