A Vinnytsia-based plant, confiscated from a Russian, will be auctioned alongside Europe’s oldest plumbing plants.

An online auction to privatize the state-owned stake (100% of the authorized capital) of the Vinnytsia-based Vinnytsiapobuthim enterprise will take place on August 13. The starting bid is ₴301M ($7.1M) excluding VAT, according to the State Property Fund. Vinnytsiapobuthim’s primary activity involves manufacturing soap, detergents, cleaning, and polishing agents. The lot includes 25 real estate units totaling 31,364 square meters on four land plots covering 4.1 hectares.

Additionally, an auction for the sale of the Budfarfor plant in Slavuta is scheduled for July 23. The starting bid for this state-owned enterprise, which is one of Europe’s oldest sanitary ware factories, is ₴208M ($5M). This large industrial site includes 38 buildings with over 80,000 square meters of total space. Budfarfor was founded in 1909 and produced porcelain sanitary ceramics such as toilets, cisterns, and washbasins. Since 2003, the enterprise has not operated, and its premises have been rented out to various tenants.
