A US agency will provide $60M to strengthen Ukraine’s cyber security.

Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov met with the Deputy Head of USAID, Isobel Coleman. They discussed further cooperation, particularly strengthening cyber defense and supporting digital transformation. USAID announced they will allocate $60M to strengthen Ukraine’s cyber security. This will help the government protect critical infrastructure facilities from Russian cyberattacks. In particular,  these include energy, telecommunications, and data storage systems. The agency is expanding its support to strengthen Ukraine’s abilities to repel cyberattacks and support the country’s digital transformation. USAID will work with New Zealand and Denmark to maintain Ukraine’s cyber security, with assistance from other countries that assist will Ukraine.
