A Ukrainian metallurgical giant believes that Ukraine has received powerful levers for completely liberating sea exports.

After Ukraine’s successful attacks on Russian ships, the entire international community’s attention is focused on this topic. “Unblocking the ports for all cargo will be a mighty geopolitical victory for Ukraine over the aggressor,” said the head of the Metinvest project office, Oleksandr Vodoviz.

He added that, “We finally started talking about the complete unblocking of the ports. We heard President Zelenskyy’s speech that we are now talking about the grain corridor and many other products. Negotiations with the UN, Turkey, and Russia will now have a slightly different character”.

As military experts explained, with its attacks on ships Ukraine has demonstrated to Russia that a port blockade is possible from both sides and gives the aggressor an ultimatum: either the Black Sea will be open for all civilian cargo of Ukraine and Russia, or no one will sail in it. This gives Ukraine a powerful lever to enable sea transport for the export of all types of products.
